It is an island nation located in the Indian Ocean, Sri Lanka is famous for its golden beaches, romantic landscapes, green tea gardens and beautiful moutains, this island is incredibly beautiful. this country is rich in historic, natural, and cultural spots. Some of the famous places are Ella, Nuwara Eliya, Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, Polonnaruwa, Dambulla Cave Temple, Adams Peak, Old Dutch Fort at Galle, Sigiriya Rock Fortress, Mirissa, Yala National Park and many more.

Itineraries

DAY 01 – Arrival in Colombo

On arrival in Colombo, After a welcome at the Colombo International Airport, you will proceed towards the hotel and check-in You can spend the remaining day at leisure or get dropped-off at a Casino.

DAY 02 – Colombo - Dambulla

After breakfast, check-out and proceed for Dambulla, an ancient city of Sri Lanka which is known for its Rose Quartz Mountain range, largest in South Asia and Ironwood Forest You will visit the Sigiriya Rock Fortress (entrance fee not included), a magnificent rock fortress with wide moats, three ramparts and beautiful outer walls. It is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site Afterwards, check-in at the hotel.

DAY 03 – Dambulla - Mineriya - Dambulla

After breakfast at the hotel, visit the Dambulla Cave Temple, the largest and best preserved rock cave temple in Sri Lanka housing 153 statues of Buddha and 4 statues of other Gods and Goddesses. Then, visit the Minneriya National Park, where you will see the famed wild elephants of Sri Lanka. Enjoy a Jeep Safari that will take you on an exclusive ride through the park and its wildlife. The tour allows for morning as well as evening safaris

DAY 04 – Dambulla - Kandy

After breakfast, proceed towards Kandy via Matale. En-route, you will visit a Spice and Herbal Garden Kandy is the second largest city of Sri Lanka and one of the seven UNESCO World Heritage Sites in the country. It attracts tourists with its picturesque lakes, majestic mountains, and wide prairies. Your Kandy City Tour will include a visit to the Temple of Tooth Relic. Also known as Dalada Maligawa, it isone of the world heritages as well as a sacred place for the Buddhists all over the world. Then, you will visit the Gem Museum, where you will get a glimpse of Sri Lanka’sfinest quality gems, including the Sri Lankan sapphires which are very exclusive and come in shades of blue, red, green, white, etc. In the evening, enjoy a Traditional Cultural Dance Show (entrance fee not included)

DAY 05 - Kandy - Nuwara Eliya

After breakfast, check-out and transfer to Nuwara Eliya, also known as ‘Little England’ and famous for its breath taking valleys, pleasant weather, tea plantations, horse race course and the 18-hole golf course Enjoy a Nuwara Eliya City Tour where you will visit the famous attractions including the Golf Course, Trout Streams and Victoria Park. Then, enjoy Fishing or Boating on Lake Gregory. Optionally, you can also visit a Working Tea Factory, where the finest Orange Pekoe Tea is produced, the Seetha Eliya, a famous temple also mentioned in the Ramayana, and Haggala Gardens, a temperate hill-country garden with beautiful floating water lilies and lotuses (at an additional cost)

DAY 06 - Nuwara Eliya - Bentota

Today, after breakfast, you will head towards Bentota, the city of the golden beaches. Your day will be divided in between bathing in the sunand swimming in the water. Water sports lovers can enrol themselves in various water sports (at an additional cost)Check-in at the hotel

DAY 07 – Bentota City Tour

After breakfast at the hotel, you will proceed for a City Tour of Bentota. On the tour, you will enjoy a Boat Ride along the Madu River, a relaxing ride that will take you across many interesting and scenic sights of several islets forested with mangroves. Also visit the Turtle Hatchery, the prime turtle nesting site where you will be able to see huge tanks filled with new born turtle hatchlings

DAY 08 - Bentota - Colombo

Today, after breakfast, check-out from the hotel and travel to Colombo.On your City Tour of Colombo, you will visit many of the historical, religious and commercial sites including the historic Fort and Pettah, the elite Cinnamon Gardens, former cinnamon plantations and now the Prime Minister’s office, the Galle Face Green, an ocean-side park, the Viharamahadevi Park, the oldest and largest park in Sri Lanka, etc.

DAY 09 – Departure from Colombo

Today will be the last day of your Sri Lanka tour package. After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport to catch your flight back home

DAY 02 – Excursion to Bentota

Breakfast at Hotel and transfer from Colombo to Bentota Bentota lies at the finishing end of the "Golden Mile" which is an hour's drive from Colombo. Famous for its prime beaches Bentota is today one of Sri Lanka's most sought after tourist destinations. The town of Bentota actually, sits on an estuary, where the river and the sea meet. This makes the area quite famous for water sports like windsurfing, scuba diving and snorkeling. Enjoy water sports such as Jet Ski, Banana Ride and Tube Ride (at an extra cost) Afterwards transfer from Bentota to Colombo. Overnight stay at Colombo

DAY 03 – Colombo - Kandy

Breakfast at Hotel and transfer from Colombo to Kandy Enjoy a sightseeing tour of Kandy which is a UNESCO world heritage site. The historic city about 480m above sea level surrounded by mountains was known to Sri Lankan as Kanda Uda Rata, which means the hill country. Kandy was home to Sri Lanka's last independent Kingdom, which survived two centuries of colonial incursion before finally falling to the British at the beginning of the nineteenth century. Visit the Temple of the tooth, royal Botanical Gardens, the Peradeniya University campus and catch a panoramic view of the picturesque town from Upper lake Drive. Early evening, you will visit a Kandyan Dance performance and be treated to a spectacular fire walking finale.



DAY 04 – Kandy - Visit to Pinnewala - Colombo

After breakfast at hotel Transfer from Kandy to Pinnewala. The Pinnewala Elephant Orphanage is one of Sri Lanka's most popular tourist attractions. The orphanage's population has now mushroomed to around 65, making it the world's largest collection of captive elephants. The elephants here range in age from newborns to elderly matriarchs, and include orphaned and abandoned elephants, as well as those injured in the wild. Transfer from Pinnewala to Colombo. Later enjoy the city tour of Colombo. Colombo is the largest city and former administrative capital of Sri Lanka and is a busy and vibrant city with a mixture of modern life and remnants of a bygone colonial era. Due to its large harbor and its strategic position along the East-West sea trade routes, Colombo was known to ancient traders 2,000 years ago. However it was only made the Capital of the island when Sri Lanka was ceded to the British Empire in 1815. The main city is home to a majority of the Sri Lanka's corporate offices, restaurants and entertainment venues.
